Today is the day! This is the day that most people in the world are united in their effort to lose weight and get healthy. I'm no different. 

I have 2 bits of advice for anyone starting on a weight loss journey. The first bit of advice is to have big dreams of success, but start with small steps toward those dreams. The reason most New Year's resolutions fail is that people have big, long term goals, which is great for initial motivation, but they also try to do too much too soon and it is unsustainable.

Changes in behavior, activity, attitudes and habits take time and should be tackled gradually, not all at once. Small steps and small changes are beautiful because they create quick wins and momentum. Don't get discouraged about not having big wins. Focus on creating momentum with small wins and build from there. 

The second part of my advice comes in the form of the free PDF I've created: 3 Foundational Steps for Weight Loss Success. This guide is easy to consume and to put into action and it establishes a foundation upon which successful short term and long term weight loss and healthy achievement is based.
