247.0 pounds. - 0.6 pounds today, - 2.9 pounds this week, - 86.0 pounds overall.
I lost 5 pounds in January! It might not seem like much, but it is progress. As much as I would like to lose 10 pounds, or more, per month, I lost weight and that is all that matters.
I am learning to keep things in perspective. What if I "only" lost 5 pounds per month, and did that month after month for the next year? That would be a 60 pounds weight loss in a year, and that would be awesome.
So, even though I didn't lose as much as I wanted in January, I lost weight. I made progress. I'm moving forward.
