248.8 pounds. - 1.2 pounds today, - 84.2 pounds overall, - 3.2 pounds toward my goal of losing 10 pounds in January.
It is awesome when a plan comes together.
The past few days I’ve been stuck at the same weight, and it would have been easy to get frustrated or change course. Instead, I forced myself to stick with my plan, because I know it works.
The results aren’t always seen on the scale every single day, but more days than not, they show up. Today they did. Sticking with my plan resulted in a 1.2 pound loss, and I feel amazing.
I’m losing weight. I’m building muscle. I feel better than I have in years. And the truth is, I’m nowhere near as far as I want to go.
I can’t think too far ahead about what might come next. That’s overwhelming and unnecessary. All I need to do is follow my plan one day at a time and enjoy the ride. When I do that, progress takes care of itself.
What helps you stay committed to your plan when the scale doesn’t move right away?
