Down 3.4 Pounds This Week!

253.5 pounds, - 1.5 pounds, - 79.5 pounds overall, 11.5 pounds to go to reach my goal of losing 20 pounds by January 1st. 

I'm down 3.4 pounds this week and 8.5 this month! I'm not quite half way to my goal of losing 20 pounds in December, but I'm on my way. I hope to have a great week this week so that I can be as close to the goal as possible before Christmas. Losing 20 pounds in December would be a fabulous way to go into the new year since it easier to maintain momentum than to start from nothing.

My muscles are very sore today. In addition to walking, I've been lifting weights the past few days and I can really feel the effects of that. It feels wonderful to know that what I am doing is making a difference and it motivates me to do more each day. 

I'm excited to walk on the treadmill for 30 minutes today and to lift weights. I'm looking forward to building my strength and to have that result in me losing weight even when resting.
