The More Progress I Make The More Frustrated I Become

253.6 pounds, - 1.3 pounds, - 79.4 pounds overall, 11.6 pounds to go to reach my goal of losing 20 pounds by January 1st.

Yesterday was a success. I was able to keep from eating after 5 p.m. and I was rewarded on the scale this morning with a loss of 1.3 pounds. The irony of having lost almost 10 pounds so far this month is that I'm even more frustrated at how far I have to go.

I need to fight the desire to focus on the end goal and be frustrated. I need to look instead at the present day and focus on everything I can do to lose weight each day. If I do that the ultimate goal will happen eventually, but if I fail to do that the goal won't be reached.

I need to learn lessons like this and not make the same mistake again. Easier said than done. I'm curious if you have lessons about health that you have a hard time obeying?
