254.9 pounds, - 2.1 pounds, - 78.1 pounds overall, 12.9 pounds to go to reach my goal of losing 20 pounds by January 1st.
I followed my plan exactly yesterday and was rewarded for it on the scale. I had a great night of sleep, I didn't eat after 5 p.m., and I exercised by walking 30 minutes on the treadmill.
Doing "all the things" made me excited to jump on the scale this morning and I was rewarded in a great way for my efforts: I lost 2.1 pounds. That's huge. That's exciting, and I want to keep making progress like that.
Today is a day to work hard at work, to not eat after 5 p.m., and to exercise. We received about 8 inches of snow last night so the picture you see is me after shoveling and using the snow blower. I'm counting that as exercise. Now the hard part. My daughter made chocolate chip cookies and the house smells fantastic. I really want to have one, but I'm afraid that one will lead to a dozen, so I need to not eat any. I know my weakness and portion control with great food is one.
We'll see what happens and we'll see what the scale says tomorrow morning!
