243.5 pounds, - 0.3 pounds today, - 89.5 pounds overall, 10.5 pounds from my goal of losing 100 pounds.
Yesterday I didn’t really follow my plan, but I still lost weight. I didn’t get my walk in, and I ate more than I wanted to, yet when I stepped on the scale this morning, I was surprised to see I had lost 0.3 pounds. I’ll take it.
I fully expected to gain weight, so seeing the number go down was a pleasant surprise. It’s a good reminder that sometimes progress happens even when things don’t go perfectly. The key is not to get discouraged on the days when the scale doesn’t move, because every day is different.
Today is the last day I’ll be able to go for my walks after work until spring because the clocks change this weekend. I’ll need to figure out a new routine for exercising during the week. Change can be challenging, but it’s also a chance to grow and stay creative with my plan.
The important thing is to keep moving forward, no matter what the circumstances are.
