247.4 pounds, - 0.6 pounds today, - 86.6 pounds overall, 13.4 pounds from my goal of losing 100 pounds.
I followed my plan yesterday and lost 0.6 pounds. That’s great — real progress — but I’ll admit, part of me wished it was more. It’s funny how our minds work. We want instant results, big changes, and dramatic numbers on the scale. But lasting change rarely happens that way.
This is where patience comes in. It’s easy to get discouraged when progress feels slow, but real transformation isn’t just measured in pounds.
Instead of staring at the scale, I’m learning to celebrate the non-scale victories — the things that show I’m moving in the right direction even when the numbers don’t move fast enough.
I feel lighter today. My daily 2-mile walk feels easier. My energy is better, and my mindset is stronger. Those are signs that my body and habits are changing — and that’s worth celebrating.
If you’re feeling impatient with your own progress, take a moment to notice what’s improving that a scale can’t measure. Better sleep. More confidence. A clearer mind. A healthier routine. Those are victories, too.
Because when we focus on those wins, we realize the progress is already happening — one step, one walk, one choice at a time.
P.S. What’s one non-scale victory you’ve noticed lately? Hit reply and tell me — I’d love to celebrate it with you!
