248.3 pounds, - 1.0 pounds today, - 84.7 pounds overall, 15.3 pounds from my goal of losing 100 pounds!
I’m down 1 pound after following my plan yesterday! It feels great to see results after working hard and staying consistent.
My 2-mile walk with the weighted vest felt fantastic last night. I’ve been walking a few days now with 24 pounds, and it feels comfortable. I checked my pulse, and my heart isn’t racing—I’m able to stay in zone 2 with that weight. That tells me I might be ready to add more.
Each additional weight is 6 pounds, so to keep the distribution even between front and back I’d need to add 12 pounds, bringing the total to 36. Honestly, that seems like a lot as I’m typing this, so I may start by adding just 6 pounds instead.
The main thing is to keep challenging myself without risking injury. I want steady progress, not setbacks. One step at a time—literally.
Lesson learned: Challenge yourself, but protect your progress.
