249.3 pounds, + 0.5 pounds today, - 83.7 pounds overall, 16.3 pounds from my goal of losing 100 pounds!

I learned the hard way that you can’t outrun a bad diet.

Yesterday I stuck to my plan of intermittent fasting and walked 2 miles with my 24-pound weighted vest. It was a solid workout, and I felt good about it. But the workout made me hungry, and last night I ate too much.

The result showed up on the scale this morning: I gained 0.5 pounds.

It was a reminder that I can’t eat whatever I want just because I exercised. Exercise helps, but the real key is sticking to the plan with both food and activity. I hope I’ve learned my lesson and can carry it forward today.

Progress isn’t about perfection—it’s about learning, adjusting, and continuing to move forward.
