248.8 pounds, - 0.5 pounds today, - 84.2 pounds overall, 15.8 pounds from my goal of losing 100 pounds!
I followed my plan yesterday of intermittent fasting and a 2-mile walk and the scale rewarded me with a 0.5 pound loss!
What made it even better was wearing my weighted vest during the walk. The vest goes up to 60 pounds but I started with 24. It turned into a real workout and I can definitely feel it in my muscles today. I’m sure that extra effort helped me drop the weight.
I’m excited to keep using the vest and to gradually add weight over time. I know I need to be careful not to rush it or overdo it because an injury would set me back in a big way. So my plan is to go slow and only increase when I feel really strong and comfortable at the level I’m at.
This is about steady progress, not shortcuts. One step, one pound, one day at a time.
