Living Life in the Middle of the Journey

246.1 pounds, + 0.9 pounds today, - 86.9 pounds overall, 13.1 pounds from my goal of losing 100 pounds!

Yesterday wasn’t my best day. I was sick, I couldn’t follow my plan the way I wanted to, and the scale showed it with a 0.9-pound gain. But you know what? That’s okay.

I’m feeling better today, and life goes on. Tonight, I’m taking my wife out to eat. Will I be able to follow my plan perfectly? Probably not. I might even see another gain tomorrow. But here’s the truth: you can’t expect to lose weight every single day. And more importantly—you need to live your life.

This journey isn’t about perfection. It’s about persistence. It’s about building a lifestyle where you enjoy time with the people you love and still come back to the plan that’s changing your life.

So tomorrow, I’ll be back on track. The ups and downs are just part of the process, and they don’t define me. What defines me is the choice to keep going.

Keep showing up. Keep moving forward. And don’t forget to live while you’re at it.
