What a fantastic way to kick off my September goal! Yesterday I followed my plan to the letter—intermittent fasting and a 2-mile walk—and it paid off with a 2-pound loss. I’m fired up and excited about the momentum.

My goal of losing 20 pounds in September is ambitious. Even though I’ve done it before, I know it won’t be easy. It takes focus, discipline, and determination every single day. But yesterday reminded me that when I put in the work, the results will come.

Tonight will be a little different. We’re getting together with friends, and I’m not sure I’ll be able to squeeze in my walk. Pair that with the fact that I just dropped 2 pounds in one day, and I’m not expecting a big loss on the scale tomorrow morning. But that’s okay. This journey isn’t about one single day—it’s about stacking up consistent wins over time.

We’ll see what happens at the restaurant, and we’ll see what the scale says tomorrow. Either way, I’m off to a great start, and I’m determined to keep pushing forward.

One day at a time. One pound at a time. Eyes on the prize.
