244.2 pounds, + 0.4 pounds today, - 88.8 pounds overall, 11.2 pounds from my next goal.

Yesterday I walked 2 miles and ate better—and while the scale still showed a gain of 0.4 pounds, it’s progress compared to the 2-pound jumps I’ve seen the past number of days. Sometimes it’s about perspective, and at least the trend is slowing down.

We made homemade pizza in our outdoor oven last night, and I’m realistic—I’m not expecting a loss after that. But the scale isn’t the only measure of success. The choices I made yesterday—moving my body, eating smarter—were steps in the right direction.

The truth is, I need to turn the tide and start losing weight again. If I stick with my plan—intermittent fasting and consistent walking—the results will come.

Tomorrow is another chance to get it right. Another chance to move forward. Another chance to prove to myself that I can do this.

The key is simple: keep showing up.
