236.1 pounds, + 2.2 pounds today, - 96.9 pounds overall, 3.1 pounds from my next goal.
I gained 2.2 pounds yesterday. I didn’t plan for it, but that’s how the day unfolded.
I didn’t stick to my plan, but I’m not too disappointed. Instead, I’m grateful. Last night, Pleasant Valley Orchard hosted a free dinner for the community, and it was a wonderful event. I got to reconnect with friends, see neighbors, and even meet some new ones. The food was good, the company was better, and those are the moments that make life rich.
Sure, I ate more than I should have, and I didn’t have time to fit in my 2-mile walk. That combination led to weight gain, but I don’t regret it.
Hitting my 100-pound milestone will just have to wait a little longer. And that’s okay—because this journey isn’t only about the scale. It’s about health, community, balance, and learning to live fully along the way.
Today is a new day, and I’m ready to get back on track. I’ll focus on my plan, make better choices, and keep moving forward.
Progress may pause, but it doesn’t stop—unless you quit. And I’m not quitting.
