233.9 pounds, - 0.4 pounds today, - 99.1 pounds overall, 0.9 pounds from my next goal.
I’m still just 1 pound away from losing 100 pounds—but I’m closer than ever. Yesterday, I dropped another 0.4 pounds by sticking to my plan. Intermittent fasting and walking 2 miles continues to do the trick.
We went out for lunch with friends, and I’m proud of myself for making smart choices and avoiding anything “crazy” off the menu. That discipline paid off this morning when I stepped on the scale and saw progress.
Today may be different, though. There’s a community event tonight, where a local business is offering a free meal for everyone in the area. It’ll be a wonderful chance to see neighbors and meet new friends. I may not get my walk in, and I may not eat as carefully as usual—but that’s okay. Life is about balance, and opportunities like this are worth it.
The key is to keep perspective: one day won’t make or break my journey. What matters is the consistency, and I’ve proven to myself I can keep showing up. That 100-pound milestone is right around the corner—and I’ll be there soon.
Discipline builds momentum, but community builds joy. And I’m grateful for both.
