235.0 pounds, - 1.4 pounds today, - 98.0 pounds overall, 2.0 pounds from my next goal
I’m exactly 2 pounds away from hitting a huge milestone—100 pounds lost! I can’t even put into words how excited I am to be this close. It feels incredible to see all of the effort paying off, and it’s fun to be making steady progress.
Yesterday I stuck to my plan—intermittent fasting and a 2-mile walk—and it paid off with a 1.4-pound drop on the scale.
Now, though, I know it’s time to take the next step. I’ve started noticing a little weakness creeping in, and that’s a reminder that if you don’t do resistance training, you lose some muscle mass along with fat. Up until now, I haven’t really minded—but I feel ready and motivated to change that.
Here’s why:
Strength training fights weakness and builds back muscle.
Muscle burns more calories all day long, even when you’re resting.
It will make me stronger, leaner, and help me keep the weight off.
The key is to start slow. I don’t need a 2-hour workout right away. What I need is consistency—just 1 or 2 lifts per day to begin with, and then build from there. If I try to do too much too soon, I’ll burn out. This is about baby steps… or maybe crawl, then walk, then run.
I’m ready for this next chapter: stronger, healthier, and determined to keep going. The finish line for 100 pounds is right in front of me—and I can’t wait to cross it.
