Yesterday wasn’t easy. I was still sick with a cold and definitely off my game with eating—but I still managed to lace up my shoes and walk 2 miles. It wasn’t my fastest or strongest walk, but I got out in nature, took in the views, and kept my commitment to myself.

The scale showed a 0.1-pound gain this morning, which isn’t bad at all considering how I felt yesterday. More importantly, I’m reminded that success isn’t about perfect days—it’s about showing up and doing what you can, even when it’s tough.

I’m so close to my next goal, and I’m determined to get there in the next few days. It feels like it’s taken a while, but the truth is I’ve made progress more days than not—and that’s what matters.

Today I’m feeling better, the weather is perfect, and I’m ready to make the most of it. My plan: walk after work, stick to my intermittent fasting, and keep my eyes on the prize. If I do that, I’m confident the scale will reward me tomorrow morning.

One step closer every day.
