I’m just 4 pounds away from my next goal! Yesterday, I dropped 0.5 pounds. Even though I wasn’t super active and I ate more than I planned, the scale still rewarded me with progress.
Today is a bit of a challenge—I caught a cold over the weekend, and I’ve been coughing and sneezing all day. My energy is low, my appetite is gone, and I probably won’t get my walk in.
But here’s the thing: progress comes in many forms. Sometimes it’s fueled by discipline and strong workouts, and sometimes it’s about simply listening to your body and taking the rest you need.
I may not be out walking today, but I’m still committed to my journey. Every day—whether it’s a high-energy day or a recovery day—brings me closer to my goal.
The key is to keep moving forward. No quitting. No giving up. Just showing up, one day at a time.
