I’m honestly amazed. I just spent 4 days on the road for business—and I only gained 2 pounds. That’s a win in my book!
I faced one of my biggest temptations: buffets with incredible food, for a total of nine different meals. I ate well, but I made a conscious effort not to eat as much as I normally would. And while I didn’t get my usual exercise—no 2-mile walks this time—I was busy from morning until bedtime each day.
Given all of that, to come home with just a 2-pound gain is mind-blowing.
Now, with the weekend ahead, it’s time to get back on my plan—intermittent fasting and daily exercise. I’m ready to refocus, drop those 2 pounds (and more), and keep pushing toward my next goal.
