I’ve been so busy, I forgot to post yesterday—sorry about that! It’s been a whirlwind couple of days, but the results speak for themselves: down 4 pounds in just 2 days. Incredible!
Last night, I went to see the Red Clay Strays in concert with my daughter, and wow—what a show. That’s the closest I’ll probably ever come to seeing Elvis live. They were phenomenal.
Even though I didn’t get my usual walk in, I stood in one spot for 4 hours—we had general admission tickets and it was standing-room only. Let me tell you, that was one of the hardest physical things I’ve done in a while. My whole body was aching by the end of it. Who knows how many calories that burned… but apparently enough, because I woke up 2 pounds lighter.
Today’s going to be another challenge—we’ve got a family cookout tonight, and I know from experience how easy it is to overeat at these kinds of gatherings. I’m going to do my best to stay in control and be mindful, but we’ll see how it goes.
