Yesterday was tough.

I got my 2-mile walk in, but I didn’t stick with intermittent fasting—and I gained 0.5 pounds. We had a family celebration, and I ended up eating too much. Honestly, celebrating and food have always gone hand-in-hand for me. It’s easy to get caught up in the moment, enjoy the atmosphere, and lose track of how much I’m eating.

This is a pattern I need to break.

I know I need to plan ahead for celebrations so I can enjoy the moment without losing sight of my goals. We have more family events coming up this week, and if I don’t get control of this now, I’m bound to put on more weight—maybe even another 5 pounds.
