Yesterday was a battle, but I stayed on track—and it paid off. I stuck to my intermittent fasting plan, got in a solid 2-mile walk, and the scale rewarded me with a 0.7-pound loss.
Now, the challenge is keeping that momentum going.
Tonight we’re having a big family meal, and I won’t be able to get out for my walk. I’ll admit—I’m a little worried about overdoing it and possibly seeing the number on the scale go up tomorrow.
But sometimes, life doesn’t allow for a perfect plan. And that’s okay.
My focus tonight is on being present, eating slowly, enjoying the food and the company, and keeping my portions in check. If I can do that, I’ll consider it a win.
We’ll see what happens tonight—and we’ll see what the scale says tomorrow morning. Either way, I’m staying committed.
