Yesterday didn’t go exactly as planned—I ended up gaining a pound. An unexpected family meal meant I broke my intermittent fasting schedule, and between kayaking and watching my son’s dogs, I didn’t get my walk in.
But honestly? It’s all good. Time with family comes first, and those moments matter more than a number on the scale.
Today is a new day—and it’s a beautiful one. Sunny skies, temps in the 80s, and low humidity. Absolutely perfect for being outside. I’m hoping to head to William O’Brien State Park for a hike. I might even try to double my usual route and aim for 4 miles. That feels crazy to say out loud—but I’m feeling strong, and this weather is just too good to pass up.
We’ll see what today brings—and what the scale says tomorrow morning. One step at a time.
