The long 4th of July weekend was incredible. I spent hours out on the water—4 hours fishing, 4 hours tubing down a river, and two separate kayaking trips on the St. Croix. The weather was perfect, and the time with my family was an absolute blessing.

That said, I definitely overindulged. I ate too much, exercised too little, and the scale reflects it—I gained over 5 pounds this weekend, including 1.1 pounds just yesterday. I didn’t think twice about what I was eating, and maybe that wasn’t the best choice, but I have no regrets about enjoying the moment and soaking up time with the people I love.

Now, it’s time to reset.

Today kicks off with a full day of work and a return to my routine. I’m planning to stick to intermittent fasting and get in a 2-mile walk. If I follow that plan, I know the weight will start coming back off.

Here’s to pressing reset and getting back on track—refreshed, refocused, and grateful for a weekend well spent.
