I walked 2 miles yesterday and stuck to my intermittent fasting plan, and the scale only showed a 0.1-pound loss this morning.
And you know what? That’s fine.
It’s still progress. Not every day brings a big drop, and that’s okay. What matters most is following the plan — and I did that. The real win is in showing up and staying consistent.
Today is going to be a little different. I’ve got the day off, and I’m heading out to go fishing. It’s going to be hot, but I’m hoping to get in another 2-mile walk before the day is done. If I can stick to my plan and stay active, I’m hoping to see more movement on the scale tomorrow.
But as always, we’ll see what happens. One day at a time, one decision at a time. That’s how this gets done.
Let’s see what the scale says in the morning — and more importantly, let’s see how well I follow through today.
