Yesterday was one of those nonstop, rainy days where nothing went quite according to plan. I was busy after work and didn’t get a chance to walk — but I did stick with my intermittent fasting plan, and I’m down 1.8 pounds this morning.
That’s encouraging. It’s a reminder that even when I can’t do everything, doing something still matters.
I’m excited about the progress I’m making, but I also know I’ve got a long way to go. That’s why I keep telling myself: just stick with the plan today. Not next week, not next month — just today.
Tonight, the weather is finally supposed to cooperate a bit. I’ve got to mow the lawn while we’re in between rainstorms, but I’m hoping to squeeze in a walk too. Every bit of movement helps, and I want to stay in the rhythm I’ve started to build.
One day at a time. One decision at a time. This is how change happens.
