Yesterday was a huge win for me — I walked two full miles without any pain in my leg from my IT band injury.
It might not sound like much to some, but for me, it’s everything.
This was the first time in five months I’ve been able to go on an extended walk without discomfort. And let me tell you, it felt amazing. I didn’t realize just how much I loved walking — how much I needed it — until I couldn’t do it anymore. Losing that ability made me appreciate it in a whole new way.
Being able to move freely again fills me with gratitude and excitement. I’m so ready to get back to walking regularly — not just as exercise, but as a way to clear my mind, boost my mood, and reconnect with my goals.
I truly believe this is going to jump start my weight loss again. And that thought absolutely thrills me. I’ve been making progress through intermittent fasting and healthy choices, but adding regular walking back in is a game-changer.
Here’s to moving forward — literally and figuratively. I’m back, and I’m not taking a single step for granted.
