I lost 2.6 pounds yesterday. That’s not a typo — 2.6 pounds in a single day.

Sometimes intermittent fasting delivers results that feel almost unbelievable. Yesterday was one of those days. The plan felt easy to follow, my energy was steady, and everything just clicked. I stayed committed, and the scale showed it.

But here’s the thing: I’m not expecting the same result today. And that’s okay.

The weight loss journey isn’t about stringing together flashy numbers. It’s about showing up today — regardless of what happened yesterday. I could let a big drop make me feel like I’ve “earned” a break, or I could get frustrated if the scale doesn’t move this morning. But neither of those responses will help me in the long run.

What matters most is consistency. And mindset.

I’m making great progress. I feel it, I see it, and I believe in it. But I’m keeping my focus on the present — not getting caught up in what the scale might say tomorrow or the next day. I’ll take today one decision at a time, stay on plan, and trust the process.

Because success isn’t built in one amazing day — it’s built in the string of ordinary days that follow.

Let’s stay grounded. Let’s keep going.
What’s one thing you’re doing today to stay on track?
