Yesterday I lost a pound. One full pound — gone. Thanks to sticking with intermittent fasting, the scale moved in the right direction and it felt amazing. It’s a reminder that this process works when I actually work it. And while I’m proud of that progress, I know one thing for sure: this is not the time to relax.
There’s a subtle danger that creeps in when the progress starts to show — complacency.
That little voice whispers, “You’re doing great! Maybe you can loosen up a bit.” But I’ve been down that road before. I’ve felt the sting of backsliding after a win, and I’m determined not to repeat that cycle.
Momentum is powerful, but it’s also fragile. It doesn’t carry itself. It needs to be fed with action, discipline, and intention. One pound down can easily become two, three, five — but only if I maintain a sense of urgency and keep stacking the good days.
So here’s my mindset today:
✅ Stick to the plan.
✅ Keep it simple.
✅ Don’t negotiate with temptation.
✅ Remember why I started.
This journey isn’t just about weight — it’s about becoming someone who finishes what they start. Someone who doesn't let small wins turn into big setbacks. I’ve got momentum on my side now, and I plan to protect it.
How do you stay sharp and focused once you start seeing results? I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments.
Let’s keep pushing forward — no coasting allowed.
