You Have To Keep Going. 234.2 pounds, + 0.4 pounds today, + 0.4 pounds this week, - 19.8 in 2025, - 98.8 pounds overall

Do you ever give up, even for a day? I do, and yesterday was one of those days. I took my wife out to celebrate the anniversary of our first date. We went to Leo's Malt Shop in Stillwater, Minnesota. I went into thinking I would just have something really light. I ended up having a wonderful Asian chicken salad along with a bowl of tomato basil soup, which was amazingly good. I justified the soup because we were sitting in cold part of the restaurant and the soup was warm to my body and soul. I didn't stop with that, however.

After this meal we went to Target where I purchased some candy as a sweet treat for us. It was delicious, but not necessary. Maybe it was. I don't know. Regardless, I ended up gaining weight on the scale this morning. This leaves me more than a pound away from the goal that I just achieved of losing 100 pounds. I need to do something about that today. 

Today is going to be a great day. I have a full day to keep me busy. Then I have some projects to work on at night to keep me occupied. If I don't eat after 5 p.m. and I exercise and get enough sleep I'm confident that I'll lose weight. We'll see what happens today and we'll see what the scale says tomorrow morning!
