What do you do to keep motivated after reaching a goal? Like a runner who just crossed a finish line and stops running, it is natural to let up after reaching a goal. Knowing this, I have to stay motivated. I don't want to lose the ground I worked so hard to gain. 

Yesterday was a great day. I was so excited to have achieved my goal of losing 100 pounds. I naturally took my foot off the gas, even just a little. I didn't eat after 5 p.m., but I ate more than I should have. This resulted in me gaining a little weight on the scale this morning. I'm not upset about this, but I need to make sure that it doesn't become a pattern. 

Today is going to be a good day. It is a weekend day without structure which can be a problem. It is more difficult to stick with the plan when this is the case. I need to not eat after 5 p.m., exercise in Zone 2 for 30 minutes, and get 8 hours of sleep. If I do that I hope to lose weight. We'll see what happens, and we'll see what the scale says tomorrow morning!
