How do you stay focused when you get close to a goal? For me it seems easier to keep my focus as I get closer to reaching my goal, but with one key caveat. None of this happens without having measured my progress, so weighing myself daily is required.
I am now just 6 pounds away from my big goal of losing 100 pounds from my all time high of 333 pounds. I need to keep pushing. I have had a lot of progress this month, which is awesome, but the past few days my progress has slowed down to the smallest amounts possible. I can't be discouraged about that. I just need to keep fighting.
Yesterday was a great day. I followed my plan exactly and was rewarded on the scale this morning because of it.
Today I need to keep doing what I've been doing. If I can keep from eating after 5 p.m., exercise in Zone 2 for 30 minutes, and get 8 hours of sleep I should lose weight again. We'll see what happens today and we'll see what the scale says tomorrow morning!
