What does it take to finally say enough is enough? After 3 days of letting myself go and gaining 5 pounds I've reached that point. I have to stop the madness of my eating and get back on track with a healthy new year, new me.
Yesterday was a day of watching football and eating and not much more. I did get outside to deal with the 4 inches of snow we received and that was a nice little workout. It is fun to change up the exercise routine. But that wasn't enough to offset all of the eating I did.
Today is going to be a great day. I'm going to get back to following my plan and I am going to lose weight because of it. I've got a full day of work to keep me busy and then tonight the Vikings play the Rams in the playoffs. I'm going to not eat after 5 p.m. and I'm going to exercise and have a full night of sleep. By doing all that I expect to lose at least 1 pound of what I recently gained. We'll see what happens and we'll see what the scale says tomorrow morning!
