Is it ever worth throwing caution to the wind and eating whatever you want? Yesterday I did just that. My wife made an unbelievable turkey dinner with mashed potatoes and green beans and it was delicious. I had two heaping plates full of everything and I gained over 2 pounds. So, was it worth it? I say yes.
I have been on quite a tear with my weight loss so far this year and I want to keep that going, and maybe I could have without eating like I did last night, but I wanted to enjoy myself with my family for this meal. So for that reason alone I say it was worth it.
Today I have the challenge of getting back into the rhythm of weight loss. I am going to have to start with baby steps like I've done in the past and then build momentum from there. It is cold and snowy out today so there will probably be a lot of television that will be watched. The big question is the food to be eaten. I want to keep that manageable. We'll see what happens today and we'll see what the scale says tomorrow morning!
