Changing eating habits after eating rich foods over the holidays can be difficult on the body. I experienced this first hand as I woke up this morning with a headache. Not only have I been eating huge quantities of food, but it has been rich in calories, sugar, salt, and fat. I've gained a lot of weight because of it.
As I've tried to dial back on eating so much and as I've tried to eat a little healthier, I've paid the price in this transition as I've had a headache as my body adjusts. I lost over a pound on the scale this morning, but I don't like waking up to a headache.
Today is going to be a difficult day. Not only do I have a headache to overcome, but I'm still transitioning my diet. I hope to exercise. We'll see what happens today and we'll see what the scale says tomorrow morning.
