So I gained a little weight yesterday, so what. No big deal. I can do this. I am going to do this. I am doing this! Yesterday didn't go exactly as I hoped but today is a new day. Yesterday I ate up a lot of leftovers from the weekend that were delicious. I ate a lot of food, and I ate after 5 p.m. I paid the price on the scale this morning, but it is no big deal.

I've gained weight this week, but I can turn it around starting today. Today is a new day and I can't let yesterdays movement in the wrong direction derail me. Today is my day to make things right.

Today is going to be a great day. The sun is shining bright, the weather is cool and crisp. My plan is to not eat after 5 p.m. and to get a good night of sleep. I'm not planning on exercising because of the continued issues with my strained IT band on the outside of my left leg. I need to rest that for 6-8 weeks, so I won't be walking or biking. If I stick to my plan I should lose weight. We'll see what happens today and we'll see what the scale says tomorrow morning!
