I didn't follow my plan yesterday like I had wanted, but my flexibility allowed me to still lose weight. I worked hard outside yesterday and missed eating lunch. Because of that I ate last night, even though my plan is to not eat after 5 p.m. If I eat after 5 p.m. I have a really tough time with portion control, and last night was no exception.

My daughter made the Jennifer Anniston salad with chicken for dinner. It was wonderful. I had two servings of it. We have delicious cupcakes in our freezer that my sister-in-law made and I was craving those. It took all that was in me to avoid having a cupcake, or two. If I would have had a cupcake I don't think I would have lost weight on the scale this morning. I'm so glad that I avoided that temptation and that I lost over a pound!

Today is going to be a difficult day. I don't have work and a normal schedule to keep me busy. The weather is cold and rainy and I'm going to be stuck inside doing nothing but watching football. With the shorter days and cold weather, my body wants me to eat like a bear going into hibernation. If I can eat sensibly. and not eat after 5 p.m. I hope to not put on weight. We'll see what happens today and we'll see what the scale says tomorrow morning!
