Just because I didn't follow my plan doesn't mean that the plan doesn't work. Yesterday was a difficult day, but it could have been worse. It was cold and rainy outside and I ran some errands and watched football. Last night the Vikings played and I ate after 5 p.m. The Vikings had a horrible first half but did well enough in the second half to win, so maybe I was stress eating. The way they were playing at first could have caused me to eat a lot more than I did. The point being, I didn't follow my plan and I paid for it on the scale this morning. That doesn't mean that my plan is wrong. I just didn't follow it.

Today is a new day. It is going to be a great day. I have a full day of work to keep me busy and if I can avoid eating after 5 p.m. I'm confident that I'll lose weight on the scale tomorrow morning. I'm excited for the election to be over. That will bring down the stress level for everyone. We'll see what happens today and we'll see what the scale says tomorrow morning!
