Do you ever get disappointed even if something goes well? I do, and it is always because of unmet expectations. I have lost so much weight on a daily basis recently that I could easily expect it to continue without fail. I haven't fallen into that line of thinking because I know better. It isn't realistic.
Yesterday was a great day. I followed my plan perfectly and I was rewarded on the scale this morning, even if it was just one tenth of a pound. Something is better than nothing. Progress is to be celebrated, no matter how small.
Today is going to be a great day. I have a full day of work to keep me busy and I hope to follow my plan exactly. No food after 5 p.m., 8 hours of sleep, and 30 minutes of Zone 2 exercise. If I do that I hope to lose weight again. We'll see what happens today and we'll see what the scale says tomorrow morning!
